The Balmoral Inn has an exciting history, in fact the oldest parts of our bar date back over a century.
We have everything you need to enjoy a delicious meal out, including a spacious dining area with booths, a pub garden with plenty of benches and a relaxed, characterful bar area where we show the biggest matches on BT Sports.

Why we love Southampton
Southampton is an amazing city, with a rich history in shipbuilding and surrounded by beautiful countryside. There are so many delightful walks and places to visit near to us at the Balmoral Inn, we’re the perfect spot to fill up on breakfast before a big day out, or wind down with a relaxing dinner after a long day exploring.
We’re very close to the New Forest, one of Southampton’s most scenic spots. Full of walking trails and things to see, it’s an ideal place for a family adventure and somewhere you can really lose yourself in nature. If you’re looking for theme parks instead, we’re also very close to Peppa Pig World!
We’re also close to the centre of Southampton itself, with docks for cruises and connections on to Southampton Airport.

Our steaks are always popular! Our 8oz fillet steaks are one of our tastiest cuts and, like all our steaks, they’re aged for a minimum of 30 days, grilled to perfection, packed with flavour and served with chunky triple cooked chips, crispy flat mushroom, juicy grilled tomatoes and peppercorn sauce.
People love our mixed grills too. We recommend upgrading to a juicy 4oz sirloin steak, succulent chicken breast, 5oz gammon steak and pork sausages, served with half a slow roasted tomato, grilled flat cap mushroom, fried egg, crispy beer-battered onion rings and triple-cooked chips.
