Our location
The Harlow Mill isn’t just a name – originally, we were a working mill and a major industrial centre for the town. We opened as a Beefeater restaurant in 1981 and we’ve been at the heart of the community ever since.
Our restaurant is spacious and split across one level for easy access. We’ve got a spacious pub garden, a big car park and we’ve got booths which are perfect for family events or parties. Our relaxed bar area overlooks the river – there’s nothing better than dinner on the riverside.

We’re in a great spot for exploring Essex, Cambridge and all the other exciting places around us. We’re just off the M11 on the way to Duxford, and we’re close to Harlow City Centre, which means we’re one of the most convenient places for exploring after you’ve had a bite to eat with us.
We’re only a 5-minute drive from Harlow City Centre. That’s only 5-minutes from the amazing Harlow Sculpture Trail, losing yourself in Harlow Museum and Walled Garden or taking a relaxing walk through the Gibberd Garden. We also have some delightful riverside walks right next door if you follow the River Stort, leading to Harlow, Sawbridgeworth and even as far as Bishop Stortford – a brilliant way to spend an afternoon and look forward to a delicious lunch with us as soon as you’re done!
